Diamond Residence is positioned in Silom area, one of Bangkok’s central business and entertainment districts. Chongnonsi BTS Skytrain Station, which is linked to the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) Station, resides within a short walking distance. The superb hotel provides a varied choice of room types to accommodate guests’ different need and lifestyle. Accommodation and facilities:
The reception staff extremely helpful and happy to help, The problem was there were small coakroaches in the room and the room smelt like toilet sewage all the time. The rooms were big and clean. could not fault the staff, i wanted to stay there 7 days but had to cut it down to the 2 nights i had only payed for. I then bked for the Narai Hotel for the remainder of my stay and enjoyed it. The reception staff not friendly, very busy hotel but clean and spacious room . i got upgrade to deluxe room. Patpong night market is 10 mins slow walking on silom road. Also u can walk to the sky train station 25 bhats only real cheap and easy to travel by train to MBK and Siam Discovery 4 Stops.look for exit signs. Travelling by train is easy and most Thai speaks english. They are very helpful.

| A veggie among a veggie, or more apt to say a "jain",
finds it often difficult to cook the luscious gravy vegetables, as
most of them include onions, garlic, potato, etc. which are taboo to
join food. Having faced this problem with many people and relations
whom I have invited, it inspired me to come out with an effort to
cook their favourite subsist, sans onions etc. Popularity of jain food is quite obvious by the number of restaurants the world over, having a section in their menu which specifies the jain dishes available. This is mainly due the presence of Indians in practically every country of the world, and their innate liking to "eat out" and eat "select foods". Jains are basically vegetarians with further taboos on their food, which bars the intake of some veggies, esp. onions, garlic, potato, and root vegetables. But the degree and strictness to which it is followed, depends on individuals, and their family eating habits. Many convenient substitutes are there to enable one to make similar dishes, and therefore enjoy the goodness of the recipes. Feugiat malesu ada.
