Accommodation and facilities:
Was an enjoyable stay for 4 nights at the Noblenight Resort. Finding the hotel is a small challenge just off the given address. The male receptionist was very helpful to many inquiries every day. I think he gave us an upgrade of room based on current hotel rates compared to reservation rate paid in advance. Accomodations were nice with a few minor personal adjustments because of resort procedures. We were there during the start of Chinese New Year which was an interesting bonus. Breakfast was adequate and served at the front restaurant with liberal hours. Location is good by being within the area of what limited night life exists in Kanchanaburi as well as very close to a fish massage place which was nice. Motorbike rates and tour rates are about the same in all locations so hunting around for a better rate is a waste of time. English is passable in the area and the main River Kwai Bridge tourist area is fairly close. Minibus back to Bangkok was inexpensive; but, overloaded and not as advertised.

Accommodation and facilities:
We have booked a Deluxe room for 1400 bath and got a superior room for 750 bath and they sad that it was a deluxe room. After we confronted them with our facts they finaly agread to pay back the balance. They said that it was Sawadee who had made the wrong reservation. The nicest personal on the guesthouse was the gardner.
Reservation service:
We don´t blame Sawadee for this problem since we always had good experience of Sawadee.

Accommodation and facilities:
The rooms were nice and cleaned everyday, and the guesthouse grounds had a lovely pool with a slide for children, as well as a play area and beautiful garden to relax in. My only problems were that the TV had fuzzy black and white reception, and the mini refrigerator turned off every time we left the room so it was impossible to keep anything cold. The dial was also broken off. The location was excellent and in walking distance to all amenities. Reception was a bit helpful but could not find our booking, and it took 30 minutes to find a room. The day before we left they came to ask why we did not check out because they only thought we were staying two nights...we paid for 3.
Reservation service:
I booked with Sawadee before with no problems but this time when I arrived the hotel did not have the booking and I had to wait 30 minutes for them to find a room. On the 17th they came and asked me why i didn t check out because they were informed from sawadee that i was only going to stay 2 nights not 3 nights. I was a bit disappointed because I booked and paid in advance because I have 2 small children.

Foton från hotellet och faciliteter

Kanchanaburi, which has mostly mountainous terrain, covers an
area of approximately 19,473 square kilometers and is the third
largest province in Thailand after Chiang Mai and Nakhon Ratchasima.
Situated approximately 129 kilometers west of Bangkok, Kanchanaburi
shares a border with Myanmar to the west, Tak and Uthai Thani
Provinces to the north, Suphan Buri and Nakhon Pathom Provinces to
the east, and Ratchaburi Province to the south.
In north and west Kanchanaburi, the terrain is comprised mainly
of mountains and high plains, with the Thanon Thongchai Range acting
as a natural border between Thailand and Myanmar. The range is the
source of Kanchanaburi's two most important rivers Maenam Kwai Noi
and Maenam Kwai Yai, which form the famous Maenam Mae Klong. As a
result, several of Thailand's largest Namtok (waterfalls) and most
extensive wildlife sanctuaries are found in this area.
The magnificent landscape and charming beauty of Kanchanaburi
have resulted in major tourist attractions including several
well-known waterfalls, caves which were once inhabited by Neolithic
man, pristine national parks, tranquil rivers, virgin forests, and
reservoir. Together, they offer an intriguing experience for
first-time or repeat visitors. Whether its fishing, rafting,
canoeing, mountain biking, bird-watching, star-gazing, golfing,
elephant and jungle trekking, or even living in bamboo rafts,
Kanchanaburi takes pride in offering them all.
The city of Kanchanaburi is located at the point where two
tributaries, the Kwai Noi and Kwai Yai meet and form the Maenam
Mae Klong. This is the location of the notorious Death Railway and
the Bridge on the River Kwai one of the worlds famous World War II
sites which have been immortalized in print and film.
In economic terms, Kanchanaburi has been doing well on a
national scale, with over 10 per cent growth annually. Important
industries include sugar, agricultural products and jewelry.
Tourism is also a main source of income for the locals as the
provinces high tourism potential has made Kanchanaburi number
one among the west provinces in having the highest number of
visitors each year.
Residents of Kanchanaburi are engaged in agricultural
activities. Most of the locals are of Thai ancestry with notable
Mon and Karen minorities. Rural dwellers enjoy living simply and
respecting nature. Moreover folk music and dances dating back at
least 500 years are still performed today.
