Das Hotel ist sehr weitläufig in einem Palmengarten angelegt, man hat viel Privatsphäre. Wir hatten einen normalen Bungalow, der am Hang lag. Das Zimmer war schön ausgestattet, mit breiten, bequemen Betten, einem Highboard, wo man Kleider hineinhängen konnte, Safe, kl. Ventilator der auf einem Regal stand. An der Decke wäre das sinnvoller gewesen, weil man am Tage keine Aircondition hatte. Super schönes offenes Bad mit Außendusche im kl. Garten (Moskitos). Alles wurde immer sehr sauber gereinigt. Eine große Terrasse mit Sitzgruppe, die wir täglich benutzten. Das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant sind von bester Qualität und schmecken ausgezeichnet, die Preise nicht hoch z.B. Coke 30, Chang Bier klein 50, Glass Noodle Salad 140,Chicken Wings 120,Larb Seafood 160 Baht ,Wasser ist immer gratis, überall im Resort. Man kann sich Getränke und Eis vom Restaurant mit aufs Zimmer nehmen, es git ja keine Minibar. Um das Resort herum ist nichts was sich lohnt zum Essen gehen. Motorroller kosten 100 Baht je Stunde, die Insel ist einfach zu befahren. Der Strand ist schön zum schwimmen, das Pier hat uns nicht gestört. Es war das erste Mal, dass wir keine Aircon am Tage hatten, der Bungalow heizte sich sehr auf, für mich war das nichts,ich möchte mich in ein kühles Zimmer zurückziehn können.

idea is to create a peaceful place for city people to get away from
their busy everyday life. "If you don't want to wake up among hundreds of people, we are just the place you are looking for." On 30 rais (12 acres) property, we represent you with a limited numbers of comfortable sea-view accommodations located in the pristine environment. Guests reside in private villas and Sweets, quaint on the outside but comfortable within. You will wake up to the gentle breeze rustling through the coconut trees. There will be no disturbance, no stress, just a memorable experience with pure relaxation and wonderful accommodation surrounded by the nature. To help you cut off from the busy world, we purposely left out some of electrical appliances that make nuisance city noise. Staying with us will be your perfect vacation that you always dream of. And here, we take pride in providing the best individualized services possible. Our friendly staffs and partners will be there to ensure that you will have a lovely vacation. Shantaa is located on Aao Ta Pao, Koh Kood. Shantaa has only 15 rooms in total. If you would like to get away from the crowd or just simply escape from your routine city life, Koh Kood and Shantaa should be on the top of your list. Due to the limited amount of power & water supply on the island by the government; therefore, Shantaa has to generate the power ourselves. For this reason, airconditioning could only be run during the night time and no in room fridge. Swimming pool at Shantaa is not available at this moment. But we have fans for day time and beautiful ocean for a pool. And if you need anything to make your pleasant stay, please do not hesitate to let us know. And because of we are on the isolated island, we have to import some materials such as fuel, food ingredients, wine and more from mainland. That is why prices of everything on Koh Kood, not just at Shantaa, are a bit high but not as high as any other tourist spots. Although it is not very fancy, Shantaa provides all the basic things you need to make your vacation comfortable and memorable. Just make yourself at home. Please do not hesitate to let us know what you want while you are with us, we will try our best to make your vacation as pleasant as we can. As you may know that, Shantaa staffs and partners are not hotel professionals. But we service by hearts. Our staffs are mostly local and students. Many of them are not fluent in English but they are doing their best to serve you. If you could speak slowly, they will be able to understand. |

| Shantaa Restaurant : All dishes are prepared by our local chefs to have the local touch of the island. Beside meals, we also have snacks, drinks, smoothies and gourmet coffee for you to order. Vegetarian food is possible. It is advisable to inform us in advance since some ingredients are not available on Koh Kood. We need to import them from mainland. Food consulting service is available if you are interested in exploring varieties of local Thai food or you have no idea what to have.

Beach at Shantaa Shantaa is quite big. We have small beach, a private canal and a small hill. The small beach between resort and pier is a bit rocky, but is great for snorkeling. However, just the other side of the pier is a vast stretch of perfect coconut fringed beach with crystal clear water especially on a bright sunny day. If you walk down about a bit from the restaurant, you will get to the beach. You can walk on this beach as far as you like or lie there as long as you please. And there are usually not many people. At our beach, we have beach bar that you can order drinks and snacks. Kayaks, sun beds and beach towels are also available there. |

Activities at Shantaa We are very fortunate to be located in one of the most beautiful and pristine locations on Kood Island, where we have both beach and a small hill. You can see the beautiful sunset up high at our lobby on the hillock or on the beach at the Shantaa Bar- Bara. At night, you can watch the moon and the stars before you go to bed. Shantaa is also surrounded by endless opportunities for outdoor exploration and fun (of course, you also have the option to do nothing at all as well). From the fishing enthusiasts to experienced hikers, Shantaa offers activities for guests of various interests. We have free activities that you can either do it with us or do it yourself. For example, you can take off down the bight for an afternoon kayaking or just swimming along the beach. You can fish on the rock or fish out at the open sea. On a half day trip, you can explore the crystal clear waters of our Eastern part of Thailand with complimentary snorkeling gear. You can also stay ashore and explore the diverse wildlife on your hike. Massage: It's time to relax. And you will feel totally rested. Masseuses are local specialists trained by Koh Kood Hospital.
