The KB Resort in Koh Chang is nicely nestled in the South end of KaiBae beach. The resort is directly located on the beach and features a wide range of accommodation, ideal for families and larger group of travelers.
The property features as well a nice swimming pool amidst the tropical garden around which all the villas and bungalows are located. The beach Bar and restaurant of KB Resort are also very popular for a drink or a meal after a day exploring the island, enjoying a snorkeling or scuba diving trip or simply spending a day on the beach, relaxing and unwinding. A whole range of excursions and activities can be arranged from the resort, such as Elephant trekking or Jungle tours as well as Sea Adventures. A web café is also available for customers to stay in touch with their friends and family who were not able to join the holiday.

Accommodation and facilities:
Nice resort for the price. Hotel facilities are nice though the pool area is starting to show signs of aging. The beach in front of the resort is blocked off on both ends making it a nice and quiet beach, though some areas of the beach are quite rocky. Reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located close to several bars, restaurants and a seven eleven. Breakfast buffet is decent as is the dinner menu and price is also very reasonable.

Good service. Was quick an secure. I made an error when booking and the agent fixed it quickly without issues.

Very nice hotel. In our opinion, the best on this beach. Nice beautiful room, beautiful grounds, sandy beach.Good pool.A lot of children, so families with children to rest comfortably.Conveniently located: quiet, but nevertheless, close to restaurants and shops.Of the minuses: too much dog in the territory in a relatively shallow depth in the sea begins stone ridge. Therefore, swim in the sea has to go to the left along the beach 150-200 meters.

Stayed in a cozy standard bungalow right on the beach. The beach was perhaps not the finest, but the whole area was very cozy. Good food at the restaurant. Close to shopping street and many restaurants.

KB Resort is currently a mid-size resort with reasonable facilities. It does not have a fitness center, but the swimming pool and the beach provide plenty of opportunity for exercise. The beachfront bungalow we stayed in for 3 nights was well equipped. We especially liked the bed, the in-room safe, the bath (esp. the tub!), the in-room wifi, and the front porch with seating for viewing the water and the sunsets. The TV didn t receive any Western channels and that could be improved. Also the breakfast selection was limited. My wife (who is Thai) and I (a vegetarian) both felt more food choices were needed. When the new 3-story wing is finished, the resort will become much more crowded and less pleasurable. The beach especially will become very crowded since it is limited in size. Overall, however, our stay at KB Resort was a wonderful experience.

We have been upgrade to a bungalow on the beach (we booked for a sea view). The place was perfect.You just have to take a plastic pair of shoes to go in the sea cause there are many rocks. Very near all the restaurants in the village but the cooking is quite nice at KB resort.Very good place for little money.
