Nara Boutique Resort & Spa , Sansai – Chiang Mai is located approx. 25 minute drive from Chiangmai International Airport and to the city centre. It is set on the plot of 25 rai of wonderfully landscaped lush gardens, where the entrance is opposite to the Maejo University, Sansai District, Chiangmai. Take pleasure in the sense of peaceful the rooms evoke. It’s just what you need after a full day sightseeing or business meetings. It is the perfect location where we can find the truthfully natural beside the city centre.
All accommodation offers 46 comfortable and tastefully spacious rooms including executive suites offering scenic rice fields, other agricultural plants in the fields, hydro water swimming pool and a large free-form outdoor swimming pool.

Accommodation and facilities:
Avoid at all cost!!! This was a terrible hotel, I don t think I have had a worse hotel experience in my life! I read trip advisor too late. This hotel is a 25 minute walk from the main street, hard to find and if you want a taxi plan at least an hour in advance. I was there for four nights and the water stopped working twice. The room they put me in did not have hot water (they continued to claim that it did), it took them two days to change me rooms to one with hot water. All of the staff does not speak English, the daughter does a little bit, and seems honest and willing to help, but she plays games. She called a taxi for me to go 3 km from the hotel, the taxi driver said it was going to cost me 400BHT and the hotel told her I would pay for it without asking me first (this is the same amount that you would pay to get from the airport to the hotel). Breakfast is not great, and the restaurant is only open for breakfast, you are on your own for lunch and supper (again a good hike away or an expensive taxi ride). I would have left this hotel except that it was New Years and other places were completely booked. Things were done on their time, and only when it was convienent to them, your feelings or comfort was not important to them at all. Please avoid staying here, as I found this ruined my impressions of the beautiful city of Chiang Mai.

Beautiful hotel, just too far from the centre of town (16km). Great place if you would like to relax, staff are very accomodating and will help with all your needs including tours. Just too far from the city if you are looking to enjoy the nightlife.
