Rimping Village, Chiang Mai is located in Wat Kate community which an excellently historical place of the city, the trading area of Chiang Mai in the old days where people from different cultures live in together, creating the unique style of culture of the whole community as reflected in people's lifestyle and architecture. Rimping Village has gone for a simple and comfort hotel with 24 accommodations and excellent facilities, this is a boutique hotel that deliver relaxed and community feel while still providing everything you want to make for your wonderful holiday. As we concern the significance of such cultural aspect toward local people, the hotel is designed with the certain style that perfectly suits the architectures around the area as numerous local designs are applied including the shape of the roof, slab covering the walkway, Lanna-style door, and especially the walls which is created with the appropriate height, well uniting the hotel and the community together.

I absolutely agree with previous comments that Rimping Village is in a surprising quiet oasis, staff couldn t do enough for you. Extremely polite, we felt emersed in a local enviroment, rather than big hotel. No hesitation to go back. Wonderful!

What sets Rimping village apart from other hotel stays we have enjoyed is the excellent staff. The most attentive ,welcoming and helpful staff yet encountered. They were a delight to deal with.

Can t say enough good things about the staff at Rimping Village. I needed to go to the hospital shortly after arriving at the hotel - they arranged to have a driver take me (at no charge) and pick me up from the hospital in a luxurious Mercedes Van. Other hotels could take a lesson from the Rimping - the staff are extremely friendly, accomodating and welcoming. It was a wonderful experience staying at this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Service was excellent at the hotel staff were very friendly and as this was our first visit to Chiang Mai they were helpful with their suggestions of things to do in the city and afar. Room was clean and spacious and upon arrival we were told we had been upgraded which is always a nice extra!

Rimping Village is one of the best Resort / Hotel we have ever been, the staff are very friendly, food is excellent, pool was good, room was perfect for my family (except the hot & cold water system in the shower & toilet needs to be improved) over all it was the best experience we had, I would mark Rimping better than Raddison in Phuket

We made our own way to Rimping and certainly thought oh no where are we going as it is down an alley way in a local rural area ,but we need not have worried, we were greeted by the most amazing welcome, smiling faces,refreshing cold towels, a welcome drink, and introduction to staff and surroundings whilst our luggage was taken to our rooms. We loved this hotel it was a haven in an otherwise busy area. Not far from Nightlife and shops,with a tuk tuk ride cheap enough if you did not want to walk it was a relief to be able to return to a quiet area after busy nights in the centre. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely, friendly staff and everything is always done with a smile, the customer is always right, they certainly are at Rimping Village. Breakfast although not a huge selection was certainly more than adequate for a smaller hotel, with a wonderful provision of local fruits, freshly cooked eggs if required and a change in selection daily. Mosquito spray was always offered free of charge which was one touch we had not experienced previously but thoughtful and once again that extra touch. On your visit if you need anything just ask the more than capable staff, whatever the challenge, they seem to be able to solve it with a smile. I think we need to bottle what they have as it is priceless. We needed tickets for the bus to Chiang Saen and they ordered, collected and paid for them only requesting payment once they were sure they were correct. Would we stay again? certainly if we visited Chiang Mai.

| Our restaurant offers a range of exotic Thai food cooked
with "Rice bean oil" which is cholesterol free and high
in vitamin E. We use only fresh, natural ingredients with
no MSG added. Apart from our great concern toward
the taste and ingredients added into dishes, the environment is also
one important aspect we pay serious intention to: the outdoor seats
within refreshing atmosphere of the shady giant Yang tree by the pool
as well as the indoor ones with cooling air-conditioners and soft music
