The creative mind for over three decades behind many palaces, restaurants, hotels, resorts, and pubs in Thailand as well as Thai embassies overseas, noted interior designer ML Sudavadee Kriangkrai found Phu Chaisai a home for solace and peace of mind. Once a bamboo forested hill, it was gradually and inventively transformed into a cozy residence and later a resort, all within five years.

Phu Chaisai is now an oasis of spirituality for city dwellers that seek refuge from the wear and tear of the city. One can't help but be impressed by the beauty of the tranquility and the natural setting. Thirty-four rooms were made of bamboo and are void of television sets and electronic alarm clocks. In the warm embrace of Mother Nature, many can make peace with their inner selves.

Simplicity is always the key to ML Sudavadee's designs. In the East-meets-West fashion show, she defined her design as integrated for relaxation of body and mind with high-quality hospitality and professional performance.
ACCOMMODATION
The crisp green leaves, soaked in dew, glistens as day breaks. Open your eyes from the comfort of your plush bed and watch the sun rise from the horizon. Breathe in the fresh air of the pure mountains from your cottage’s private terrace overlooking the panoramic view making you forget city life, with only 35 rooms in 6 different room types: Bamboo cottage, Mountain cottage, Deluxe mountain cottage, One-bedroom pool villa.

Bamboo Cottage
Bamboo is the preferred building material at Phu Chaisai due to its sustainability and abundance among our bamboo forests. Phu Chaisai owner M.L. Sudavdee recognized that Thai bamboo cottages would blend harmoniously with the surroundings; she also wanted to utilize and draw out the qualities that she discovered in bamboo, such as its rigor strength and flexibility to be shaped in any form. Interior furnishing mainly consists of local bamboo whether it is our tables, chairs, door handles, and even light fixtures. Thus, bamboo is the ideal material for our idyllic mountain resort in Thailand.

Decorative items, such as cushion covers locally made in the north of Thailand and woven with indigenous cotton, were carefully selected to provide you the simple pleasures of natural living. 1-Bedroom Pool Villa
Relax in your private cottage tucked away in the mountains, soaking your cares away in a private plunge pool two steps from your front door. A private sitting area with day-bed, large outdoor bathtub and shower completes your personal escape from the outside world.

Pool villas are unique individual cottages of 45-70 sqm, with en-suite baths, outdoor dining area and double or twin beds. Pool villas are suitable for guests requiring a higher degree of luxury and privacy, and are available for long term rental.

Swimming Pool

Carved into the hillside on a secluded site of the resort, an infinity pool with a modern design using black mosaic overlooks the lush valleys and distant mountains. Take a dip or lounge on the sundeck and order your favorites drinks from the pool bar. This is also an ideal spot to curl up reading your book or a glossy magazine in the afternoon while waiting for the sun to set at the horizon.
 
Meeting and Conference

Our main conference room can accommodate up to 100 persons with full meeting equipments. While another meeting at our bamboo sala can accommodate up to 35 persons intimating mountain and breathtaking fresh air.
 
Boutique and Souvenir Shop

A small boutique selling carefully selected local souvenirs as traditional clothing or bags. Also our own Phu Chaisai products like potteries , bags , T-shirts , our Oolong tea and homemade Phu Chaisai jam from seasonal fruits at our fruit farm : passion fruit , mulberry , strawberry etc.
