A good, clean hotel in a quiet area about 10 minutes walk from Ao Nang. Rooms are spacious and well equiped. Breakfast was excellent. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems - there are many steps from reception area to rooms and, no lift. The hotel is also up a steep hill from the beach area. Sadly, Ao Nang is best avoided. There has been far too much development there. It used to be a peaceful heaven. Now it is noisey, crowded and polluted.

Loved this hotel, very good value for money! Superfriendly staff ^^ Would love to stay here again. They clean the rooms daily and the rooms are wellequipped with AC, hot shower, minibar and TV with some english channels (mostly Thai though).
Only negative things are:
* Small pool with no area to sit around it. I m not much into hanging around the pool so it was no problem for me though.
* Sometimes they were a bit slow on refilling the breakfast buffé.
*Not very nice view from hotel.
Good things:
*Clean, spacious and beautiful rooms.
*Close to beach (8 minute walk)
*Friendly and helpful staff
*Very nice breakfast buffé with bacon, sausages, toast, yoghurt, cereal, fresh fruit etc. and on demand they made you egg/omelet.
I really recommend Royal Nakara!

I chose the hotel as it was an extremely good price for the way it looked and I was only staying there over night before getting the boat to Railay Beach.\r\n\r\nI found it on Trip Advisor. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are so very helpful! They were willing to talk to me for ages when I had so many questions for them on Thailand. The room I stayed in (Deluxe Seaview) was very spacious. Not as luxurious as the photos make it look but for the price, you cannot go wrong. Cleanliness was vital for me and this it was. \r\n\r\nSea view is a little leadig. Yes, you can see a tiny strip of sea on the horizon, but the hotel is not at th beach. It is a good walking distance or drive by Tuk tuk or car.\r\n\r\nI would suggest if you book through an agent, DO NOT book the hotel transfer unless you want to pay extra for the luxury of a spacious air conditioned van. You can get a taxi for the taxi desk at the hotel for 150THB wheras the hotel transfer costs 700THB. It is not the hotel who arrange this fee but the seperate company who offer this service. It is a great service, but you have to be willing to pay the price and if on a budget, don\ t fall into this trap.\r\n\r\nNo wireless/lan internet in the room, but wireless internet downstairs in the lobby.\r\n\r\nOverall, basic and clean accommodation with lovely staff.\r\n\r\n...**Note for hotel...you must work on your Google ratings. I could not find your site, but found the booking agent sawdee.com. They should be on your site but should come after your rating on Google. Speak to whomever designs your website. I have copied everything I have written here and sent it to you and Trop Advisor in case anything is missed out when I post it.

Royal Nakara is a very small hotel located about 15 minutes from the beach. The place is very clean and the staff is very helpful and attentive. The pool is rather small. We stayed there for 3 nights and breakfast was the same every single day.

We stayed there for 3 nights. The place is clean and staff is very helpful. We didn t have much view. We were facing some squatter area. Breakfast was ok but we were served the same thing everyday. it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach but that was ok since there were alot of shops along the way. The hotel pool is rather small.

It is a nice hotel, when i asked the staff it was just 1 yr old. Seems like a family run business, all staff arev very friendly and helpful, even hauling a tuk tuk for us by driving to another hotel when there is none.
It has a lovely small pool, we loved to use it after a day s of sun tanning abd the rooms are real big and spacious, would love to go back there again!

Thumbs up for the rooms and the service. We have 11 of us for the trip and none of us have a single complain. You will be amaze with the interior of the hotel despite looking at the lobby which looks like a normal guest house. The service is fabulous. We definitely miss the people around there. It s just like a small family, warm and friendly. A 3-star hotel and a 5-star service and room.
