The Coco Cottage is located on the island of Koh Ngai in the Andaman Sea that could give you unforgettable scenery of a white-sandy beach and crystal clear sea water. You can also enjoy this Treasure Island for a whole year round. Therefore, it is the best place for the tourist (like you), who is willing to seek peacefulness and happiness at the same time.
CoCo Cottage is an Environmental - Friendly Resort. All rooms are decorated in natural style, with extensive use of wood. Cottage is decorated in natural style, with thatched-roofs and walls lined with coconut trunks. Inside, made-to-order wooden furniture and woven bamboo leaves ceilings create a warm & natural feeling. We offer 2 Types of accommodation (28 rooms in total).

We were parents with a teenager girl.We had booked just one night bur werw able to get one more, but after that it was full-booked. We enjoyed our stay att coco; calm and nice and very cosy, friendly staff.

Very nice resort in a tropical garden with lots of palms. Very nice standing in the outdoor bathroom and looking upp in the sky and palmtrees. The staff are very proffessionel and especielly Moo in the restaurant was fantastic.

Excellent hotel and service. Nice rooms and good food. The only negative I have to say is that it was a lot of mosquitos late in the evening. Well worth à visit!

Paradise! Beautiful resort, very kind, helpfull and funny staf. Food is great and snorkeling perfect. It telt like a honeymoon. Recommend the boattrip to the Emerald Cave!

Coco Cottage is a wonderful place to stay! The island is very calm and beautiful and also the resort s well kept garden with it s many trees and flowers. Nice bungalows and a very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return as soon as possible!

We had a great time at Koh Ngai and our hotel was very good. We had a familybungalow and were very pleased with that, also the children thought it was fun to have a room on their own. The restaurant and the food was one of the best at Koh Ngai. We tried different every night but Coco was best. The staff was very helpful and kind. If we come back we will stay at coco again.

We stayed there the second time, now with our 1 year old son. For us Coco Cottage is the most beautiful resort in Thailand and the staff of Coco Cottage is really nice. They makes us feel home far away from home. It was so great how they cared about Tom (our baby), especially Paew and Moo, but the other staff also. This time, they offered not just 2 choices of breakfast, now there is a good breakfast buffet - Great! We will definitely go back there.

The Resort is located on the beautiful and quiet Island Koh Ngai. I stayed in a beautiful Beachfront-Bungalow(5 nights), the location of the Resort is really great. Amazing beach(maybe not so good for children, rocks in the water) and a stunning palm-garden. If you are looking for perfectly accurate service and 5-Star facilities (and things like TV or fridge in your room), this is not the right place for you. But the staff is really friendly from their hearts and willing to help and the place is really a piece of paradise. The guests are mainly couples from Europe, but I had also a good time as single traveller. I will definitely come back next time I am in Thailand.

Nette Bungalows die in einem schönen gepflegten Garten verteilt sind. Das Bad ist halboffen, es gibt nur kaltes Wasser, das stört bei den Temperaturen aber nicht. Das Personal ist sehr nett und spricht gut Englisch. Es werden Schnorchelausflüge angeboten (empfehlenswert) Das Transfer wird zuverlässig arrangiert. Im Restaurant gibt es eine grosse Auswahl an leckerem Essen, viele Gäste von anderen Bungalowanlagen kommen deswegen zum Nachtessen. Wir wollten immer mal etwas anderes ausprobieren, aber weil es so gut war, sind wir dann jeden Tag im CoCo Cottage geblieben. Zudem gibt es eine orginelle Bar direkt am Strand, 3 x die Woche mit happy hour. Massageservice wird angeboten, sehr empfehlenswert. Koh Ngai ist eine Insel, auf der es kein Nachtleben gibt, dafür aber auch keine Strandverkäufer. Wer Ruhe und Erholung und tolle Strände sucht, ist hier richtig. Fazit: Südseefeeling zu einem günstigen Pries

During END and LOW season, guest should
have spare time or flexible plan for their departure. Leaving the island
to take any fixed schedule of transportation in the same day is not
recommended. Resort will not responsible for transportation that cannot
be held due to weather unexpected.
* FYI: For Family With Kid (s) *
We had visited by many guests with baby/small
kid and found that sometime some families with small kid(s) feel uncomfortable
staying here. With careful consideration, our team has agreed to give
below information to all parents for good preparation before visit either
our place and/or Koh Ngai.

Koh Ngai Condition:
- Koh Ngai is a small remote private island without village or local people. No market, no supermarket, no mall, no hospital, no pharmacy, no bank, no ATM. Kid's necessaries need to be provided with you such as milk, baby food, diapers, kid medicine, mosquito repellent lotion for kid, kid life jacket etc. Even those are able to be ordered from Trang town (with charge), but it needs to take 2-3 days to obtain the orders.
- In case of emergency, the nearest hospital is government hospital in Sikao district, Trang province. The fastest way to get there is 20 minutes taking a speed boat to Pakmeng pier then 15 minutes taking a taxi to the hospital. Anyhow, either longtail boat or speed boat is not always on site. In any urgent case, it takes about 1 hour to get to the pier. Or the nearest international hospital is in Had Yai, that take about 3-4 hours from the island. So, please carefully consider if your kids (or even adult) has any health problem.
- Koh Ngai is a part of national park, more than 60% of area is covered by tropical forest. So the mosquito problem is difficult to eradicate. Anyway, never been found Malaria carrier here.
Resort Condition:
- Coco beach is rocky, not sandy. Kids could enjoy the beach during mid tide only.
- As CoCo Cottage is environmental friendly resort, accommodation
and all facilities are designed and arranged under the concept
of simply living in the nature:
- No refrigerator, No kettle provided in any room. Kid medicine could be kept in the restaurant's refrigerator. And to boil water also could be required with our staff during restaurant service time at 7 am. - 10 pm.
- A/C in room will be operated at night time from 4 pm. - 10 am. or from 6 pm. - 9 am. in Pre & End or Low Season period. We do understand that sometimes kid may need to sleep in cold place but we are so sorry that our restaurant is open-air area, no a/c. - For family with 1 kid: child 3 years and up will be charged as extra person at 700 B/night. Price includes sofa bed set up, set of towels, mosquito net, a bottle of water and breakfast..
- For family with 2 children (both are between 3-8 years old): our cottage size is about 30-39 sq.m. , only 1 extra mattress on floor or sofa bed could be set up. So the older child will be charged as Extra person at 700 B/night. Price includes sofa bed set up, set of towels, mosquito net, a bottle of water and breakfast. Younger child has to share bed with parents and extra breakfast will be charged at 250 B/night.
Note:
From November 2013: CoCo Cottage will only accept booking for
adults and children over 3 years.

And recently, there were 3 cases in a month that speed boat had been ordered at night. And one case also needed an urgent private transfer to International hospital in Phuket. the beach face to Trang Sea. Actually, Koh Ngai is a part of Mu Koh
Lanta National Park, Lanta District, Krabi Province. But it is more
convenient to access via Pakmeng Pier in Trang.
