Travel reviews for Tritrang Beach Resort
Date of stay: Mar 03, 2012
Accommodation and facilities:
Location, Location, Location.
The rooms were large and airconditioned.
I found this hotel in the best location and only 10 minutes from Patong.
The beach was beautiful, but at low tide, sometimes, not all the time, you can t swim, but we could put on coral shoes and walk out to the deep water to snorkel. we snorkelled everyday seeing different fish all the time.
There was a nice pool, the superior rooms in the new building that is right on the beach were lovely and airconditioned, however when all the rooms are full you do run out of hot water, but the water is luke warm in the mornings.
Reception was very friendly and helpful.
There were 3 free bus shuttles into Patong which fitted into swimming all day and then shopping in the afternoon and at night.
This place is frequented by Russian tourists, so there is no English conversation, however due to the location I would definately go back as it was the perfect location for me not wanting to be on a crowded beach at Patong and not be surrounded by other hotels, as we could go for a walk every morning to the end of the beach and it was like being on an Island holiday.

I booked with Sawadee and they would respond to my questions so fast and were very efficient, would book through them again.

Accommodation and facilities:
After a former good experience with booking a hotel through your site, I used it again to book a room in Tritrang Beach Resort in phuket.
To our big disappointment the hotel was nothing like in the photos that are published in your site, as it is under heavy renovations which resulted in an unbearable noise of construction all the time and a very ugly scenery – not such that you would expect in a romantic vacation.
Because of that we decided not to spend the days we have paid for in the hotel and left it early.
These ordeals caused us stress and lose of money which I think you should compensate us for.
I ve Attached photos of the hotel to an email I ve sent you. The photos were taken during our stay there. You can imagine the noise and inconvenience that comes with theese images.

Extremely unfriendly welcome when checking in! Recepionist answered passport when I sad Hello! We had contacted hotel in advance making sure to get seaview, but reception did not care.
Lot of disturbing Russian guests in the hotel, very noisy at night.
However the room was clean and excellent, as well as the breakfast.

Accommodation and facilities:
The location is perfect hidden away from the busy beach of Patong. Tritrang beach is isolated and only this hotel is on the beach, it is very private. Only can swim in high tide because of the coral and rock. I recommend to bring along your snorkling mask. The hotel is settled down the hill. So many steps to get to the beach. Make sure you get the beach front room where you also can park the car next to your room if you have knees problem. If not, the building is with very nice view, especially from the top 5th floor. They are building another building now with good size swimming pool. The room is big and clean. Breakfast buffet is okay. The service is ok, I didn t see the smiling face from the staff but they did everything on my request without any problem. It is okay to come back again.
Reservation service:
good and quick booking, no problem.

The Tritrang was a totaly amazing experience, I was never expecting such a high level of service, friendlyness and cleanliness, especially the later, their level is considerately higher then that of Aus. hotel.
The room was imacculate and the view was to die for, it may as well have been a private beach, I was previously in another hotel of 4.5 star status but i feel that i had a better deal here!
I think that for this kind of money you would be hard pressed to find any better, I had an amazing holiday here and trully got a taste of thai life, a must see for anyone on a budget and even if not, then just for the real thai experience! Kop Koon Krap!!!(thank you)
Reservation service:
booking was good, not without trouble but still good! was a problem that i had a late check in and no way to let the hotel know that i was going ot be late, maybe let your customer know the hotel number or a number in the receipts for you to pass on
