Le Ark Bar Beach Hotel est situé en plein centre de la plage de sable blanc de Chaweng et dans les environs de toutes les boutiques et des lieux de vie nocturne. L'hôtel a ouvert ses portes à l'été 2009 et représente une parfaite option pour les touristes qui aiment passer leurs journées à la plage, bronzer, lire, pratiquer l'une des nombreuses activités aquatiques proposées et faire du shopping, aller dîner et faire la fête en soirée. Toutes les 186 chambres sont joliment décorées et peintes dans différentes couleurs chatoyantes, spacieuses et dégagent une atmosphère très moderne mais confortable. Le Ark Bar sur Koh Samui est célèbre pour sa délicieuse cuisine, servie dans son restaurant sur la plage et pour ses fêtes de plage organisées régulièrement depuis de nombreuses années.

This place was not at all worth the money. It was in a great location and the bar was great but I could have paid significantly less money and got the same type of room somewhere else. The service is what really bothered me. To begin with the staff wasn t all that welcoming or helpful with any requests or questions I had. The real problem was on my last night there. Me and my friends were outside our room talking making a bit of noise at around 4 a.m. after coming back from a night out. The security then came up and yelled at us for being too loud and when we argued with them one guy pulled out handcuffs and started chasing after me. While this was going on the other security guy busted in my friends room looking for drugs and started harassing everyone with nightsticks hitting them and shouting MAFIA! We were shocked by this treatment when we pay like 1500 baht a night. But I guess this is a bit more of a reflection on Thai people in general rather then Ark Bar.

Stayed in a good sized 2nd floor junior suite 100m from the waters edge and 60m from the nearest pool . Big comfortable bed , rain shower and couldn t hear a thing at night once all doors closed . The place to be if you enjoy a swim-up pool bar ( there are 2 others also ) lazy chill music good service , whether on the beach loungers or poolside during the day and a good atmosphere at night . Free beach party on Wed. and Friday nights and a stroll to nightlife/restaurants/massage/shopping/transport/bars if you fancy a change from the 4 bars and restaurants of The Ark Bar . Would love to stay in a similar room again . great value for money . Recommend .

Great location and excellent food however make sure your room is upstairs as very noisy during beach party nights, more suitable for 20 s to 30 s age group, otherwise all good.

If you are not a night person you need to be aware of the very sucessful beach parties that the hotel holds. Very noisy until 3 am Wednesday and Friday nights. Summer 2012 - Building work adding new rooms overlooking the pool area.

This hotel is great for people aged 18 - 28. It has 2 amazing pools, one with a swim up bar. They have a live DJ playing daily in the arvo. Great pool parties on Sunday and Fridays. I hightly recommend this Hotel. It is right on the beach and in a beautiful location. Close to everything. The staff are very friendly as well. We would definetly return.

Party resort, NOT for familys as my group of friends. Only young party people. VERY crouded by the beach, NO room for privacy. Dirty pools, especially by the poolbar. Would not recommend.

Great hotel, well situated right in the middle of the main Chaweng Rd, shops and entertainment area. I stayed in the suite room, clean and neat, poor wifi though. Excellent pool bar area and awesome beach spot.

lovely hotel. nice rooms. only thing is dont go here if u want to get a nights sleep in peace. bangers goin off every night. our room was right on the main walkway to the ark bar. the noise of people walkin past at night shoutin and screamin and twice we had people tryin to get into our room by mistake probably cause drunk. wouldnt stay here again cause of that.

This hotel is just perfect. very central to markets and restaurants. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room itself is very clean and a great size. The night life happens on the beach at ark bar yet there isnt much noise in your room. over all definitely one of the best places to stay in. I highly recommend it.
