The Haad Tien Beach Resort is located in the south of the tropical island Koh Tao on it's own little, almost private beach, but only a kilometer away from the nearest local shops and restaurants and a short car ride to the main village. The beach itself opens out onto a blue shallow lagoon perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Haad Tien offers 26 private high standard luxury villas and 5 cottages for the budget travellers. The restaurant is just a short distance down the beach and offers great views of the beach and bay; it offers both excellent Thai and traditional western style food, and also all the cold drinks and beers you may also need.

It s a paradise. If you want to relax and have a quiet and beautiful location Haad Tien s the place to go. Service is good, staff is so nice, the surrounding is just beautiful. They work in the garden tirelessly. Breakfast is good. We ate most nights at the restaurant and had cocktails at the beach bar. Water is so beautiful and calm - perfect for swimming. We stayed in the hideaway villa 113, the outdoor furniture is not the most comfortable there but for being outside the beach is the best place to go anyway. We had a little hassle with pick up as they were waiting at the other port and didn t write it in the response email, but we found out and all was good in the end. One night we went to the city with the shuttle bus but were glad to return after a few hours (which was too long in my opinion). The experience was really good. Would definitely go back!

The place is fabulous, the beach is the most attractiv beach of the island The very attractive castaway family beach, decorated tastefully and sobriety the magnificent restaurant with the tables up to the beach, The design of the swimming pool, the staff is really charming, smiling, (in the reception, in the restaurant, the Domestic staff, the crew of the boat, everybody does his best so that stay is unforgettable , the Thai people welcome is not a legend! Just some points on which the improvements can be brought: - The quality of the breakfast - The diving club near the hotel ask the double than the other scuba school of the island for a bad service and the staff except the responsable don t speak english It s a pity that kayak are a paying activity If you change this , everything will be perfect! Long Life to the Haad Tien!

I can t come up with a complaint. Every need was tended to and they were very busy and completely booked. We stayed more nights despite the high cost. This beach is the best on the island and the snorkling right off the beach is great. Food was good, beer was cold, the room was spotless. We will be going back no doubt. Always nice to see this kind of resort matched with their great service.

酒店很美,我定了HIDE-WAY,但感觉除了比小别墅略小点,基本没区别,也是独立的,房间很舒服,和5星的一样干净,又略带泰国味道,没有牙刷,而且靠海也很近.酒店有私人海滩,虽然安全线出去一点就是浮浅点,但安全线以内还是无法浮浅的,水很多沙,看不见鱼,如果要浮浅还是要去一日游,有家DIAMOND不错,带我们浮浅的MARK英国人,技术好,人也好.酒店员工都非常热情和友好,BEACH BAR还有个会,讲点中文,除了RECEPTION有个较胖的女的,态度真不好,除了最后让我给她打分的时候笑过,其他都扳着脸,但对白人就很热情.她服务和酒店的其他部分很不相称.酒店餐厅的THAI FOOD不错,海鲜就做的很一般了,FLY非常多,建议大家一人就点一个菜,不然赶苍蝇都来不及.酒店免费提供码头接送,但平时要去码头就只能坐1天三次的班车了,不过感觉码头除了买点水,其他也没什么可以逛了,要逛不如在苏梅逛.酒店的环境非常好,大草坪,宽阔的海滩.

Nice location, one of the few in Ko Tao not on the hills but directly on the beach. Pros: very clean and functional room. Lovely pool. Nice staff, helpful. Cons: overcharged the bills in the restaurant (it happened twice in 4 days), they tell you happy hour is 50% but it s not, the massage price went strangely up when we asked for it... it makes you feel ripped-off. The room (sea balcony) is really small. The beach could be cleaned by the staff. Despite the cons, would go again as it s a perfect place when traveling with children.

Probably the best resort on Koh Tao. Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent thai food in restaurant and long clean private beach. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Koh Tao.
